DESCRIPTION: Stereognostic Bag: 2D Shapes consists of sets of 7 pairs of 2D geometrical solids which are wrapped in a bag. The child would have to match the solids by touching and feeling the solids within the bag. colour. There are different types of objects placed in the bag, for example, there are solid objects, different sized objects, and objects that are similar in shape. OBJECTIVE: This activity develops the child’s muscle memory, promotes concentration, and is indirectly preparing the child for Geometry which he will learn later on.
